Special Services
We believe that all students can learn and that our school environment does provide opportunities for all students. We believe the purpose of the Special Services Department is to provide support to assist students in addressing their individual needs to achieve independence as responsible citizens to the fullest extent possible.
We believe students grow to achieve their fullest potential when they have the opportunity to participate as completely as possible in the full range of curricular and extra-curricular activities at Andrew. We believe that collaboration with staff, parents and students is a crucial part of the students’ achieving their academic, social/emotional, physical, and cognitive needs. We believe these relationships will provide the students with the opportunities to learn the academic, vocational, functional, and social skills necessary to succeed in the 21st century.
