Course Selection '24-25

All students will be meeting with their school counselor to discuss course selection, receive course selection documents and resources, and finalize course selection throughout January and early February. Parent/guardian involvement in the course selection process is vital, and we are here to support you and your student in the process!
Steps and resources for Course Selection:
1. Course Selection Letter to Students and Parents/Guardians
2. Review Course Recommendations: ISBE Accelerated Placement Act
3. Review course options: Course Selection and Planning Guide
4. Complete Course Selection Worksheets (below by grade level). Have parent/guardians sign.
5. Enter courses in Skyward Course Requests
6. Students meet with their School Counselor to review, discuss, and finalize requests by appointment. Students must bring their completed parent/guardian signed course selection worksheet to thier appointment. Counselor will collect and keep documents on file.
